Murcar Links 4 December 2019

A bracing day at Murcar Links with a significant wind chill factor and variable breezes that made scoring difficult.  The course was in fantastic shape for the first week of meteorological winter with the greens in particular receiving consistent praise from Members throughout the day.  The course was not giving in, however and even the best were unable to break the box tee par of 69.

Young professional Declan Addison was surprised to find himself in the Scratch prize list after scoring 74 but with amateurs Derek Craigie and Stewart Finnie winning higher value handicap prizes despite scratch 73s, Declan was happy to collect his first Alliance prize as a professional!
